Number of people treated by COVID-19 exceeded 900

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/- On Sunday, 30 people tested positive were released. Thus, the number of cured patients reached 925. Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu made the statement today.

So far, 3,268 cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in the Republic of Moldova, after processing over 16,000 samples.

The official said that there are 222 patients in serious condition, and 533 of medium severity, the rest being in satisfactory condition. She said that over 300 people are treated at home.

MSMPS data show that so far, 96 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19.

On 17 March-15 May, state of emergency is declared in Moldova. Localities in Ștefan Vodă, Glodeni, Soroca, Edineț, Vulcănești were under quarantine regime, the exits and entrances from these locations are blocked.
