More than 100 people die of COVID-19 in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 April /MOLDPRES/ - There are over 100 people dead of COVID-19 and 3,408 persons infected with this virus. As many as 382 of these cases are from the Transnistrian region.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, another three deaths triggered by COVID-19 were recorded today. A 64-year-old man from Glodeni died in the wake of the infection with coronavirus. He was suffering from mixed cardiomyopathy, heart insufficiency and systemic vasculitis.

Also today, the virus killed a 78-year-old man from Tiraspol. He was suffering from ischemic heart disease, atherosclerotic cardiomyopathy. A 79-year-old from Glodeni died today too. She was put in the Glodeni district hospital on 19 April and was suffering from second-type diabetes and intestine cancer.
