Chisinau, 13 May /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members today voted for the amendment of the regulation on the payment of salaries to the employees of the public medical and sanitary institutions involved in the system of mandatory health insurances, approved under a government decision from 2020.
According to the changes made by the government, the supplements for the cumulation of the duties of the position held with the duties of a vacant office, temporary vacant or temporary absent, are established for the staff, if necessary, so that this does not hit the quality of the services provided, through the administrative act of the manager, within the limits of the means of the salary payment funds.
Also, the quantum of the supplement for the cumulation of positions is established by the sides of the individual labour contract, depending on the real volume of works carried out, but cannot be smaller than 50 per cent and, respectively, cannot exceed 100 per cent of the office salary, established according to the minimal length of service.
According to Health, Labour and Social Protection Minister, Viorica Dumbraveanu, the basic goal of this draft is to adjust and improve the regulation on payment of salaries in medicine, ‘’in the context of specifying the sense of some norms of the Labour Code, in order to avoid different interpretations by certain control bodies (National Health Insurances House, Financial Inspection, etc.). At the same time, the amendments proposed will be able to compensate the insufficiency of staff in the public medical institutions.
