Moldovan head of state summons meeting of Supreme Security Council

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today summoned a meeting of Moldova’s Supreme Security Council (CSS), the presidential press service has reported.
Before the beginning of the discussions, the head of state noted that the issues included on the agenda were really worrying the entire Moldovan society – a thing confirmed by the people with whom the president discusses during meetings.
Thus, the participants in the CSS meeting tackled four subjects of major importance: continuing the investigation of the bank fraud; actions undertaken to return the Chisinau International Airport to the state’s management; carrying out of investigations on the contraband schemes in in particularly large proportions and the dynamic of the epidemiological situation in Moldova.
The Moldovan president gave assurances that all those involved in the crimes with high impact would be called to account and punished under the legislation. ’’The thieves must be in jail,’’ Igor Dodon stressed.
