Chisinau, 15 May /MOLDPRES/- The technical concept of the Information System Records of Applicants and Beneficiaries of Grants (SIA ESBS) was published in the Official Journal on 15 May.

The document sees that the implementation, operation, maintenance and development of the system will be carried out at the expense and within the allocations approved for this purpose in the budget of the central public authority responsible for the subsidy policy in agricultural and rural development.

"Performing an independent, impartial, credible and efficient information system is a necessary condition for ensuring implementation of the regulatory framework in subsidizing agricultural producers and rural development, fair and transparent management of financial resources allocated through the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development and other sources of the development partners”, the government decision reads.

SIA ESBS is an automated information system consisting of a set of information resources and technologies, technical means of software and methodologies, interconnected, and intended for the registration, storage, use of information on grant applicants and grant files.

The system will be a departmental information resource for the Agency for Intervention and Payments for Agriculture.
