Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with ambassador of Hungary

Chisinau, 15 May /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today had a meeting with Ambassador of Hungary Sándor Szabó, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The officials reviewed the Moldovan-Hungarian relations and reiterated the existence of very good cooperation and friendship ties between the two states.
Zinaida Greceanii thanked Hungary for the constant and sincere support provided to Moldova in various sectors, including on the external stage.
The speaker stressed the opportunity and importance of the support provided by Hungary in the fight against the pandemic. She highly appreciated the fact that Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó had accompanied a consignment of assistance in Chisinau.
Zinaida Greceanii underlined that, in the present conditions, more than ever it was important to maintain a productive dialogue with Moldova’s partner states.
In the context of the domestic political situation, the speaker emphasized that the political stability was a vital need now, decisive for the efficient management of the COVID-19 crisis and for the citizens’ health.
For his part, Sándor Szabó highlighted the ascendant character of the Moldovan-Hungarian relations on diverse dimensions. The ambassador voiced hope for an as quick as possible overcoming of the pandemic crisis, in order to be able to fully resume the interaction processes and all projects underway between Hungary and Moldova.
