Moldovan public sector employees to act according to special working regime on period of emergency state in health sector

Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ - The public sector units from Moldova will continue working according to the special regime of work and remuneration on the period of the emergency state in the health sector (16 May – 30 June 2020), in accordance with the a decision by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP).
„The Ministries, State Chancellery, other central administrative authorities subordinated to the government and the organizational structures within their area of competence (subordinated administrative authorities, including the deconcerted public services, state enterprises and commercial societies with full or majority public capital, in which the ministry, State Chancellery or other central administrative authority has capacity of founder) will organize the carrying out of the activity in special working regime, starting from 7:30 till 16:00, with dinner break during 12:00-12:30, with subsequent revision, depending on the epidemiological situation,’’ according to the CNESP Decision from 15 May.
Also, the heads of the public entities will organize, depending on the specific character of the activity and the needs: attraction to work of the strictly necessary staff for ensuring the functionality of the entity, the activity of which needs compulsory presence at the place of work; organization of the work at home for the staff, whose activity does not need compulsory presence at the work place, but can be carried out at distance.
On the concerned period, the director of the Customs Service will establish, by internal administrative act, the regime of work in shifts for some customs checkpoints at Moldova’s border, with duration larger than 12 hours, with the observance of the work’s interruption between shifts.
Starting from 16 May, emergency state in public sector is declared in Moldova, which will last till 30 June. On this period, more restrictions are maintained, established during the emergency state lifted on 15 May and the decisions by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission are executory for the central and local public administration authorities.
