Moldovan foreign affairs minister meets Ambassador of Germany

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The strengthening of the Moldovan-German relations, as well as a string of up-to-date aspects in the political, economic and justice sectors were reviewed at a today’s discussion of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea and Ambassador of Germany to Moldova Angela Ganninger, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.
In the context of the present pandemic situation, the officials considered measures undertaken by the Moldovan and German governments, in order to cease the spread of the COVID-19 virus and prevent the bad economic effects. The minister offered thanks for the assistance worth about one million lei, recently provided by the Embassy of Germany in Chisinau to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.
The Moldovan diplomacy head highlighted the high level of the bilateral political relations. Oleg Tulea highly appreciated the assistance for development on behalf of Germany, provided to Moldova in the last decades, in key sectors, such as consolidation of the democracy, civil society, mass media, infrastructure projects, etc.
