Moldovan diplomacy head meets Ambassador of Poland

Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea today had a meeting with Ambassador of Poland to Moldova Bartłomiej Zdaniuk, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s press service has reported.      

The officials voiced mutual satisfaction for the close cooperation relations between Moldova and Poland and appreciated the high level of the bilateral political dialogue.

The sides tackled aspects on the present situation triggered by COVID-19 and the string of epidemiological measures undertaken by both countries. In the context, Minister Tulea offered thanks for Poland’s prompt reaction to Moldova’s request of assistance in the fight with the pandemic, as well as for the support provided to national medical and sanitary institutions, including the delivery of equipment and consumables to Moldova’s medical system.  

At the same time, the discussion was focused on the stage and possibilities of developing the bilateral political dialogue at the economic and sectoral levels. The interlocutors reiterated the importance of boosting the economic and commercial cooperation between the two states, as well as of further stimulating Polish investments in Moldova.
