Online questionnaire launched to support national tourism

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/- The Investment Agency launched an online questionnaire to support operators and travel agencies. The survey conducted by Magenta Consulting company is part of the national campaign #NeamPornit, initiated to promote tourist destinations in the country and support businesses in the domestic tourism industry.
The survey conducted by questionnaire aims to find some answers to the questions: What do you expect from a trip through Moldova? What kind of rest do you like? How much are you ready to spend for a rest day in the country? What kind of experiences should the travel package include for a weekend trip to Moldova?
"Both globally and nationally, the pandemic has caused serious damage to the entire tourism sector. Now it is time to turn our backs on the situation and make some changes. Through #NeamPornit survey, we aim to find out the profile and expectations of the local tourist so that the economic agents from the tourism industry, the travel agencies adjust their offers to the expectations and possibilities of our citizens. Reviving domestic tourism can be a stage of development of the sector, in order to be more competitive at regional level, and the creation of a diversified offer of tourist products will increase the country's attractiveness for foreign tourists ", director- general of the Investment Agency Rodica Verbeniuc said.
According to Dumitru Slonovschi, director of Magenta Consulting, the survey is part of a more complex study: an online survey, a telephone survey and focus groups that have already been developed.
#NeamPornit campaign was launched in late April on social networks by the Investment Agency that promotes Moldova as a tourist destination for authentic and unexplored experiences. The initiative aims at boosting creation of local tourism offers and increasing consumption of domestic product, given that hospitality sector has been hit hard by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The campaign partners are: Publicis Agency, Profile, Simpals and Magenta Consulting companies. In support of the campaign's actions, other economic agents can join, and all interested to (re) discover the country. Organizers announced that during the campaign, surprise events will be held. Also, online events will be organized, new initiatives will be launched, aimed at discovering, promoting and supporting the domestic tourism product.
