Moldova's national plan 2020 on labour force employment to be published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ - The action plan for 2020 for the implementation of the national strategy on the labour force employment on the period 2017-2020 will be published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) on 22 May.   

Under the cabinet decision, the plan for 2020 includes the activities which are implemented during the calendar year, having as reference point the general matrix of actions for 2017-2021, as well as the exact costs.

„The actions are focused on the implementation of four priorities: creation of opportunities of formal, non-discriminatory and productive  employment; development of human capital for enhanced employment chances; a better governance of the labour market; turning to good account of the migration for sustainable development,’’ the document reads.  

The implementation of the actions included in the national action plan for 2020 will contribute to the creation of new opportunities of employment in rural areas and small towns; reducing the difference between the demand and supply of labour force; employment of jobless people; providing the regulatory and institutional framework for the protection of Moldova’s citizens who work abroad and facilitating the reintegration of the citizens who returned from abroad.

The overall costs needed to carry out the action plan are worth about 1.5 million lei, of which a good deal is covered from the state budget.
