Age of applicants for loans provided within First Home state programme increased in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 May /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament made amendments to the First Home state programme today. Thus, the conditions of eligibility were simplified through reducing the quota of personal participation and extending the categories of beneficiaries.
Under the amendments made, the quota of personal initial participation in the programme was decreased from 10 to 5 per cent of the dwelling’s purchasing price. At the same time, the age of the applicants who can access the programme was increased from 45 to 50 years.
Also, private people who owned a real estate, but the habitable space of which exceeded nine square metres per one person, become eligible as well. The draft law sees also including in the categories of beneficiaries of compensations of people who accessed a mortgage loan till the launch of the First Home programme in March 2018.
