Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/ - Thirteen political formations have not honoured their legal obligation to submit the financial reports for 2019 to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
At a today’s meeting, CEC took note of the reports on the financial management of the political parties for 2019. Thus, the CEC members found out that only 26 political parties had observed the term of submitting the reports for the last year, seven formations submitted the report after the deadline and another 13 failed to fulfill their legal obligation to submit the reports to CEC.
Under the provisions of the Contravention Code, the Central Electoral Commission will summon the decision-makers of these political parties and will draw up the official reports on contravention.
