As many as 143 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours-19

Chisinau, 22 May /MOLDPRES/ -As many as 1,217 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 143 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 6,847 confirmed cases of new-type coronavirus in all.

According to data by Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 15 out of all cases registered today are medical employees: 5 physicians, 8 medical assistants, 2 auxiliary staff employees.

A number of 280 people have been healed of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and there are 3,369 treated people in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informed about another three deaths triggered by COVID-19. The virus killed two women and a man, who were hit by other diseases too. There are 237 people dead of coronavirus in all.
