Trolley buses, buses do not move in Moldovan capital in this week-end

Chisinau, 23 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that the movement of the municipal public transport is ceased on 23 and 24 May.

The municipal authorities ruled to stop the movement of the transport this week-end too; thus, the trolley buses and buses will not move.

The city hall reasoned this restrictive measures by the fact that ‘’it is enforced in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infection among the Chisinau residents.’’

The normal working regime for trolley buses and buses will be resumed on 25 May.

We remind that the bearing of protection masks, including the ones manufactured individually, has been compulsory in the public transport of Chisinau starting from 4 May.

Emergency state in the public health sector is in force in Moldova.
