Central Market to resume activity on 1 June

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Today Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said at the online meeting of the municipal services that Central Market will resume activity on 1 June.
Deputy Mayor Inga Ionesii said that the set of measures needed to prevent coronavirus infection is currently being worked out. "We have been assured by traders that they will comply with the necessary restrictions to prevent coronavirus infection," Ionesii said.
This week the group of municipal councilors will meet to work out the concept of modernizing Central Market. Its activity was suspended on 13 March. During the period, traders held several protests demanding the reopening of the Central Market.
