7,093 cases of COVID-19 infection recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 2 May /MOLDPRES/- In the Republic of Moldova there are 7093 cases of COVID-19 infection, of which 880 in Transnistria.

According to MSMPS, 275 patients are in serious condition, 23 on assisted respiration, 591 are hospitalized in medium severity.

So far, 1,497 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees, including: doctors - 352, nurses - 578, assistants - 78, pharmacists - 20, support staff - 469 people.

At the same time, in the last 24 hours, six more deaths were recorded due to COVID-19 infection.
