Salaries of health care workers likely to be increased

Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Wages of medical workers will be increased or even doubled. President Igor Dodon made the statement today. He noted he will sign today a decree declaring 2020 as the year of the worker in the medical system.

He said he will propose to the government to work out a very clear timetable for doubling salaries in health sector. "I don't just mean doctors, but nurses - everyone who works in the medical sector," Dodon said.

He said he will propose to the National Commission for Public Health that after 1 June the markets in Chisinau and Balti resume their activity, to reopen the gyms and premises in the HORECA sector. It is also proposed to resume international passenger transport.
