National Public Health Commission convened in meeting

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu chaired a meeting of the National Commission for Public Health on 25 May, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The commission members examined the evolution of the epidemiological situation and assessed the effects of lifting previously imposed restrictions. Statistics presented by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection show that part of society was used to observe the rules of social distance and personal hygiene to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs informed the patrol observations in public places, pointing out the existence of a large number of people who do not meet the requirements of social distance.

Interior Minister Pavel Voicu approached the increased flow of people entering the country at the border crossing points by land and air.

The commission addressed a lot of issues on gradual lifting of a number of restrictions to resume various economic activities in conditions of maximum safety for providers and beneficiaries.

The commission members adopted Decision No12.
