Moldova receives consignment of humanitarian assistance on behalf of Bulgaria

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova today received a consignment of humanitarian assistance on behalf of the government of Bulgaria, in order to control and prevent the COVID-19 infection.

Attending the donation event was Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Bulgaria to Moldova Evgueni Stoytchev and the leadership of the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.

The batch of humanitarian aid contains 500 protection overalls, 500 protection spectacles, 500 protection helmets. The consignment’s overall value is of 22,728 euros.

„Bulgaria fully commits to back Moldova in the fight with this pandemic. We can be stronger only together,’’ the Bulgarian diplomat said at the event.

All equipment donated is to be distributed to Moldovan public medical and sanitary institutions on the next period.
