As many as 232 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,663 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 232 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 7,537 confirmed cases of new-type coronavirus in all.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, twenty out of all today’s cases are medical employees: four physicians, 11 medical assistants, one doctor’s or surgeon’s assistant and four auxiliary staff employees.

At the same time, one more death triggered by the COVID-19 infection has been registered in the last hours. It is about an 80-year-old woman from the Straseni town.

Till 27 May, 3,975 people have been healed and 274 died because of COVID-19.
