Chisinau city hall to provide 700 lei for pupils from needy families for new school year

Chisinau, 28 May /MOLDPRES/- The Commission for setting and providing material aid to certain categories of people of the Chisinau city hall decided to provide financial support worth 700 lei to prepare pupils for the new school year. Thus, eight thousand children from disadvantaged families will benefit from this financial aid.

Also, the commission decided to provide financial sources for 78 children without parental care and children temporarily left without parental care placed in the guardianship / curatorship service and in residential institutions, 5,000 lei for 20 little ones who will go to first grade; 3,000 lei for 46 graduates of the ninth grade and 5,000 lei for 12 graduates of the 12th grade. The total amount is 298 thousand lei.

The commission decided to offer material aid for blood donors - 78 people worth 500 lei per person. The amount provided for this purpose is 39 thousand lei.
