Six Moldovan-Ukrainian checkpoints resumed work

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/- Under the decisions of the authorities and in coordination with the structures of Ukraine, the work of six Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points is resumed today with continued restrictions in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 epidemic.
According to the Border Police, starting with 08:00, through the border crossing points Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, Ocnita - Sokireani, Larga - Kelmentsi, Criva - Mamaliga, Basarabeasca - Serpniovo, the traffic for both passengers and carriers of goods is resumed.
Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration came up with information on the new travel rules issued by EU and neighboring countries. Those interested can check the information on the websites of the diplomatic missions.
Under the Instruction No77 of 27 May 2020 of the General Inspectorate of Border Police and Decisions No11 of 15 May 2020 and No12 of 25 May 2020 of the National Commission for Public Health, restrictions and control measures are maintained when crossing the state border in both directions, including transit through Moldova.
