One more person killed by COVID-19 in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 May /MOLDPRES/ - One more person has been killed by COVID-19 and thus, there are 283 deaths of this virus in all.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), a 59-year-old man from Chisinau lost his fight with the virus. The man was put in Clinical Republican Hospital on 11 May and was suffering also from other diseases.

MSMPS said that 7,725 cases of infection with Coronavirus had been confirmed, of which 975 – on the left bank of Dniester. A number of 245 people are in serious health condition, 17 are intubated and 603 are hospitalized in a state of medium seriousness.

Also, 51 children infected with the new coronavirus are put in hospitals.

Till 29 May, 1,564 cases of infection among health system employees have been confirmed, among whom: 369 physicians, 20 pharmacists, 608 medical assistants, 83 doctor’s or surgeon’s assistants, 484 auxiliary staff employees. As many as 996 medical employees have been healed in all.
