As many as 450 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 2,013 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 450 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 13,556 confirmed cases of new-type coronavirus in all today.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), all cases registered today are with local transmission.

Eighteen out of the cases recorded today are medical employees: 10 physicians, 6 medical assistants and two auxiliary staff employees.

Another 273 people have been healed in the last 24 hours and thus, there are 7,525 treated persons in all.

At the same time, MSMPS today informed that three medical system employees had lost their fight with the new virus; thus, there are 20 employees who died in the wake of complications triggered by COVID-19. As many as 450 people have died of coronavirus in Moldova in all.
