Moldovan president has meeting with Russian Ambassador

Chisinau, 19 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a meeting with Russia’s Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials discussed more topical subjects on the bilateral agenda. The sides were unanimous in the opinion on the need to deepen the cooperation between the two states on all dimensions, despite the crisis triggered by the pandemic.

The interlocutors paid increased attention to the process of preparation of the visit to Moscow by Moldova’s official delegation, where a military parade dedicated to the jubilee of the Victory Parade, held on 24 June 1945, will take place on the Red Square on 24 June. Also, the head of state plans a string of bilateral meetings with his colleagues from abroad.

Seventy five servicemen of Moldova’s Honour Guard will participate in the Parade. They will march on the Red Square along with military from other states.
