Moldovan president conveys congratulatory message to MOLDPRES State News Agency

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today conveyed a congratulatory message to the MOLDPRES State News Agency, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the institution’s foundation, the presidential press service has reported.

The message reads:

”Dear employees of the MOLDPRES Agency,

I address you sincere congratulations on the celebration of three decades since the foundation of the MOLDPRES State News Agency. On this period, the institution has become one of the principal sources of information from Moldova, being present in the first line at all events in the country with correct and verified information.

Or, an official news agency must be namely like this – reliable and truthful.

The role of this information source was felt especially in the difficult moments covered by the country. I felt it now as well, in the current pandemic, when the Agency’s reporters spread to residents information from sure sources, without disseminating panic.

In the anniversary context, I wish good health and success to each of you, reporters, photo-reporters, editors, those who day by day provide the country’s information platform with news equidistantly and objectively.’’
