Moldovan parliament speaker conveys congratulations to MOLDPRES Agency

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today conveyed a congratulatory message on the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the MOLDPRES Agency, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The message reads:
”Thirty years ago, under a decision by the Supreme Soviet (legislative body) of the Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic (RSSM), the Moldpres News Agency was founded. Being the successor of the ATEM Moldovan Information Agency, Moldpres took over high quality standards in the journalism of news, which prompted the institution’s international recognition and created a good school for news makers and presenters.
An ascendant evolution of development followed, in the conditions of their own independence and the country’s independence. During years, the agency has spread and continues to spread stories from various sectors, photo, video information about the events from Moldova, familiarizing the entire world with the success and difficulties Moldova is facing accurately, objectively and correctly. Also, the agency brings to the knowledge of the wide public the legislative and normative acts adopted by the authorities.
At the same time, Moldpres provided to public and private institutions of Moldova and from abroad tens of specialists of the highest qualification, who presently also successfully apply their knowledge and experience gained at this school of excellence.
I express respect to all generations of devoted professionals, as in not at all easy conditions, they preserved the institution and its image, they did so that the name Moldpres and its word be credible and respected not only in Moldova, but also all over the world.
I congratulate the team of the Moldpres State News Agency, including the current and the former employees, on the occasion of those three decades of work. I wish them to further maintain the same level of journalistic and linguistic quality and the objectiveness, impartiality and correctness should remain guide in the journalistic work and example worthy to be followed.’’
