Moldova's government conveys congratulatory message to MOLDPRES State News Agency

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s government today addressed a congratulatory message to the Moldpres Agency, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its foundation, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

The message reads:

”The Moldpres State News Agency today turns 30 years of its foundation. Three decades during which the institution covered diverse stages and assiduously acquired the status of the state’s official ‘’voice.’’

The institution’s development and modernization would not have been possible without the Moldpres employees. Through your daily work, you objectively and equidistantly inform the public opinion of Moldova and from abroad about the current political, social, economic, cultural state, as well as the activity of the public authorities from Moldova.

At present, when stories have become mostly an instrument of masses’ manipulation, the objective informing is vital for people. Our citizens have right and need to know the realities, without being distorted by the editorial policies.

In this context, the Moldpres Agency has and important role in the promotion of Moldova’s image both in the country and in the world. Presently, Moldpres exchanges information with news agencies from Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, etc.

Dear members of the Moldpres family,

We thank you for the professionalism and energy you invest in your daily activity. We thank you for long-lasting cooperation and the tacit confidence given in the state’s institutions. That is what Moldova mostly needs now – the trust of its citizens. Certainly, a grounded one.

If each of us makes maximal efforts at his/her working place, we will enhance the quality standards in the country. We tend to this – no matter the difficulties we are confronting with.
