Chisinau general mayor says MOLDPRES news gives confidence, truthfulness

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, today congratulated the MOLDPRES State News Agency Public Institution on the 30th anniversary of its foundation and wished the employees to maintain the professionalism they prove.

Ion Ceban said that, in an age when the risk of fighting the fake-news is high, the stories bearing the MOLDPRES trademark give confidence and truthfulness. ‘’In an age when the risk of fighting the fake-news is high, the stories bearing the MOLDPRES trademark give confidence in their truthfulness,’’ Ceban said.

The MOLDPRES State News Agency Public Institution marks the 30th anniversary of its foundation on 20 June. The Moldpres agency has the task to ensure the production and spread of information, publication and editing of official acts, inform the public opinion of Moldova and from abroad about the state policy and the current activity of Moldova’s public authorities, provide editorial poly-graphic and advertising services, produce and sell photo and video materials.
