As many as 397 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 20 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) informs that 379 new cases of infection with COVID-19 were registered today, all with local transmission.

In a press release, MSMPS said that 2,019 tests had been made, of which 1,586 for the first time and 433 repeated ones and 397 positive cases for coronavirus were detected. Thus, there are 13, 953 people infected with the COVID-19 in all.

Twenty seven out of the cases recorded today are medical employees: 7 physicians, 17 medical assistants and three auxiliary staff employees. As many as 7,745 people have been treated and discharged in all.

At the same time, Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry informs about the registration of another six deaths triggered by COVID-19.
