As many as 247 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 21 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) informs that 247 new cases of infection with COVID-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours.

A number of 1,052 tests were made today, of which 846 for the first time and 206 repeated ones and 247 positive cases for coronavirus were detected. Thus, there are 14,200 people infected with the COVID-19 in all.

Twenty one out of the cases recorded today are medical employees: 4 physicians, 10 medical assistants, 6 auxiliary staff employees and one doctor’s or surgeon’s assistant. As many as 7,745 people have been treated and discharged in all.

At the same time, Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry informed about the registration of another eight deaths triggered by COVID-19. Twenty three medical employees lost their fight with the virus in all.
