Moldovan cabinet approves e-Learning governmental platform

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ – The cabinet members today approved the concept of the Information System, The E-Learning governmental platform and the regulation on its use and administration.
The e-Learning governmental platform is an information system component part of Moldova’s state information resources. The system is meant for providing to private people, legal entities of public and private law an efficient, reliable and modern mechanism of employees’ training, through the creation, development and making available online of training resources, as well as giving employees access to information meant for their professional development.
The goal of the creation of this platform is to put at the disposal an information system of platform for employees’ training, both to the central and local public administration, as well as the citizens and the business environment, in their capacity of potential users of training services.
The basic objectives established for the platform are: diversification of options and enhancing the access to the process of professional development of public administration employees; digitalization and automation of the process of professional development and certification.
The working out and development of the platform’s technical solution will use financial resources allocated to this end from the project, Modernization of Governmental Services. The platform’s operational sustainability will be provided from the state budget.
