Governmental portal of entrepreneur to be activated in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Moldovan government, at a today’s meeting, voted for the approval of a regulation on the use, management and development of the governmental portal of entrepreneur.  

The portal represents an information system made up of a string of information resources and technologies, programme technical means and methodologies which are inter-connected. The portal is meant for providing to private people and legal entities carrying out entrepreneurship activity an efficient, reliable and modern mechanism of getting, through an access point, official public interest information and documented information about themselves, available in information registers and systems of data providers.   

The state is the portal’s owner and the financial resources for its development, maintenance and exploitation are provided from the state budget, as well as other financial means, under the legislation. 

„The owner and holder of the Portal is the Electronic Governance Agency Public Institution, which ensures the legal, organizational and financial conditions for the creation, work and development of the Portal. The Portal’s technical manager is the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service Public Institution, which fulfills its duties in line with the normative framework in terms of technical management and maintenance of state information systems,’’ the cabinet decision reads.   

The development of the governmental portal of entrepreneur and the maintenance of its functionality, for the first year of implementation, will be carried out from the state budget through centralized financing of the Electronic Governance Agency Public Institution for 2020, with the estimated cost standing at about 1.5 million lei. The annual costs for the portal’s management are estimated at about 500,000 lei and will be covered also from the state budget through centralized financing of the Electronic Governance Agency Public Institution.
