Governmental portal of citizen to work in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ – The Moldovan government, at a today’s meeting, voted for the approval of a regulation on the use, management and development of the governmental portal of citizen.
The portal represents an information system made up of a string of information resources and technologies, programme technical means and methodologies which are inter-connected. The portal is meant for providing to citizens an efficient, reliable and modern mechanism of getting, through an access point, official public interest information and documented information about themselves, available in information registers and systems of data providers.
The Portal’s duties are as follows: setting forth official information of public interest; accessing by users of documented information about themselves, set forth by data providers; personalization of the information set forth by data providers, depending on users’ interest; informing users on the change of documented information about themselves; guaranteed reception of the notification sent by providers of services through the governmental service of electronic notification; accessing by users of electronic services through the portal, without the need of additional authentication, in relation with the systems, the information of which is accessed through the Portal; transmission of data of authenticated user to other state information system for identifying the person and ensuring the automated access, in order to exclude the additional authentication.
The development of the governmental portal of the citizen and the maintenance of its functionality, for the first year of implementation, will be carried out from the state budget through centralized financing of the Electronic Governance Agency Public Institution for 2020, with the estimated cost standing at about 1.5 million lei. The annual costs for the portal’s management are estimated at about 500,000 lei and will be covered also from the state budget through centralized financing of the Electronic Governance Agency Public Institution.
