Moldovan cabinet approves creation of Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members today approved a decision on the setting up of the Public Institution, Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture.

Under the decision, the public authority, Unit of Implementation and Management of the Project on Food Production Growth, is reorganized, through transformation, into the Public Institution, Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture.

The Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Ministry fulfills the duty of founder of the Public Institution, Agency for Development and Modernization of Agriculture, in the name of the state.

The Agency’s goal consists in the facilitating farmers’ access to the agricultural technology and equipment through sale and purchasing, including in installments, for ensuring the growth of the competitive agro-food production and developing an alternative supply of alternatives/solutions for agriculture’s modernization, by providing consultancy and expertise, training, assistance in planning business in the agro-food sector.
