MOLDPRES journalist treated of COVID-19

Chisinau, 24 June /MOLDPRES/ - A photo-reporter of the MOLDPRES State News Agency Public Institution has fought with the new-type coronavirus during 21 days; yet, neither on the hospital bed, he put aside the working tool and made an ample photo-report about the medical system’s employees and the situation in hospitals.

Neither when the virus put his health to serious test, the journalist did not cease doing his job and made rare pictures with physicians from the Clinical Municipal Hospital No 1 from Chisinau, involved in the fight against COVID-19.

“Twenty one days. Is this a lot or a little? It seemed me to be a lot, but we thank God and physicians; they have passed and I already feel well and I am at home. Esteem and respect to you, dear Physicians,’’ Mihai Vengher said on his page on a social network.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry, so far, 15,078 people have been infected with the new-type coronavirus. A number of 8,400 patients out of them have been treated and 495 lost their fight with the virus.
