Moldovan parliament speaker discusses with new Ambassador of Belarus

Chisinau, 26 June /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova is interested in the creation of Moldovan-Belarusian enterprises in various sectors of the economy. Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii made statements to this effect at a today’s meeting with the new Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Anatoly Kalinin, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The speaker congratulated the diplomat on his appointment as Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova and welcomed his coming to Chisinau. ‘’Our relations with Belarus are very good; we have a fruitful cooperation and I am sure that they will be developed and boosted on the next period,’’ Zinaida Greceanii said.

According to the parliament speaker, Moldova is interested in the development of projects on infrastructure, restoration of roads, railway, as well as in the agriculture field, including through the creation of joint ventures.

For his part, the ambassador thanked for openness and warm reception in Moldova and expressed willingness to support new bilateral projects.

This is the first meeting between the two officials.
