Moldova sent humanitarian aid to eliminate consequences of floods in Ukraine

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan government today sent a consignment of products and equipment necessary to eliminate the consequences of the floods of recent days in Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a column of trucks led by the head of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Mihail Harabagiu set off this morning from the IGSU headquarters to transport aid to Cernauti, one of the most affected regions of Ukraine.
Recent rainfall has severely affected western regions of Ukraine, such as Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Transcarpathia, Ternopil and Cernauti.
