Number of diseases with COVID-19 decreasing, possible to gradually return to normality from 15 July - president says

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/- Number of COVID-19 diseases is decreasing and if this rate continues, other measures to return to normality will follow after 15 July.

President Igor Dodon said today after the weekly meeting with Prime Minister and Speaker that the number of diseases with the new coronavirus is decreasing, and the infection rate is also decreasing.

The president said that maintaining a low number of coronavirus diseases would make it possible to discuss the possibility of opening pre-school institutions after 15 July.

"Kindergartens will first open in rural areas, and then open in cities. Obviously, this return to normal will be based on the decisions taken by the public health commissions of local authorities," he said.
