Experts' commission assesses state of bridges in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/ - A municipal commission assesses the state of bridges in Chisinau.  

The Moldovan capital’s deputy mayor, Ilie Ceban, at a today’s online meeting of the city hall’s services, informed that the participants in a meeting with specialists and experts of the city hall had warned about the fact that the placement of advertisings on bridges and of car washes beneath them was banned.   

„These objects create conditions for the deterioration of bridges’ state, through the  humidity which persists as a result of the work of the concerned economic agents,’’ the deputy mayor said.

In the context, Ilie Ceban asked the Chisinau district praetor’s offices and the general departments of architecture, urbanism and land relations to consider the ground of the placement of car washes beneath bridges and undertake measures for their evacuation. The official stressed that the local public authorities would take urgent measures to this end, as the state of road bridges has deteriorated in the last years.   

There are over 20 road bridges in Chisinau.
