As many as 16,357 cases of COVID-19 infection recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/- So far, 16,357 cases of infection with the new Coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Moldova, of which 1,217 on the left bank of the Dniester.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, 483 infected people are in serious condition, 30 patients are connected to assisted respiration devices, and 1,115 are hospitalized in medium severity.
Until 30 June, 2,408 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees, including: doctors - 606, pharmacists - 28, nurses - 966, assistants - 123, support staff - 685 people.
During the last 24 hours, another 153 people were treated for COVID-19.
Death rate reached 541.
