Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - A consignment of humanitarian assistance worth 200,000 dollars today was provided to Moldova on behalf of the South Korea. The donation contains 200,000 protection masks and was delivered to the Chisinau-based Emergency Medicine Institute.
Attending the event, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea thanked the Korean authorities for the support provided in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I would like to refer to the Moldovan-Korean relation, the bilateral dialogue, which is permanently developing in a string of fields of mutual interest, which we want to promote in continuation and with much more dynamism, not taking into account the pandemic crisis,’’ Oleg Tulea added.
Moldova has earlier received humanitarian assistance from Romania, China, Poland, Hungary, EU, USA and Russia.
