As many as 285 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 2,246 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 285 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 16,898 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 284 cases are with local transmission and one is of import. Most cases were registered in Chisinau – 109; 20 cases - on the left bank of Dniester, 18 cases in Balti and Orhei each and 10 cases in Straseni.

Seventy one people with suspicions of coronavirus have been hospitalized at the Chisinau-based COVID-19 Centre in the last 24 hours.

At the same time, MSMPS also informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by COVID-19. There are 549 people dead of this virus in all and 9,594 people have been treated.
