Moldovan government decision on single salary payment system published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - The decision on the government taking responsibility for the amendment of the Law No 270/2018 on the single salary payment system in the public sector was published in the today’s number of the Official Journal. The present law will enter into force on 1 September 2020.  

Under the new amendments, the staff of the public sector units benefits, if a case maybe, of increases specific for the occupational group or category of personnel in the way established by the government. The annual sum of specific benefits included in the variable part of the salary will not exceed: a) for the staff of the sectors of education, research, culture youth, sport, social assistance – 10 per cent of the annual sum of basic salaries for the personnel with right to benefit from specific increase; b) for the staff of the field of national defence, state’s security and public order – 20 per cent of the annual sum of basic salaries for the personnel with right to benefit from specific increase; c) for the medical staff of the medical and social assistance authorities/institutions/structures – 30 per cent of the annual sum of basic salaries for the personnel with right to benefit from specific increase; d) for the staff of the authority in charge of the exercising of the parliamentary control – 40 per cent of the annual sum of basic salaries for the personnel with right to benefit from specific increase.  

The limits of the specific benefits are approved by the government for the authorities competent with the administration of fiscal and customs incomes and in charge of certification, supervision and control in the civil aviation sector.
