As many as 252 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,859 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 252 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 17,150 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), four of the today’s cases are of import (Italy, United Kingdom, Russia, Romania).

Twenty out of the 252 cases are medical employees: 5 physicians, 9 medical assistants, 4 doctor’s or surgeon’s assistants and 2 auxiliary staff members.

At the same time, MSMPS also informs about the registration of another nine deaths triggered by COVID-19. There are 560 people dead of this virus in all and 9,846 people have been treated.
