Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament meeting planned for today was again postponed because of lack of quorum, as only the MPs of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) and Democratic Party (PDM) were present in the session hall.
Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii said that the lawmakers were to hold a plenary meeting next week.
„I find out the lack of quorum and the meeting is declared closed. We meet next week,’’ Greceanii noted.
Today morning, the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and the faction of the Dignity and Truth Platform informed that they would not participate in the today’s parliament meeting. They asked the government to submit the draft laws on which it wants to take responsibility through usual procedure.
This week, both parliament meetings planned failed over lack of quorum, after the opposition had boycotted it, speaking out against the procedure of taking responsibility by the government on four draft laws, including the rectification of the 2020 budget.
