Almost 1,000 minors from Moldova infected with COVID-19

Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 945 children and 152 pregnant women have been infected with COVID-19. Most of them have been already healed. The director of the National Public Health Agency (ANSP), Nicolae Furtuna, made statements to this effect at a news conference today.

The ANSP head noted that 17,150 cases of infection with COVID-19 were presently registered, of which over 450 are in serious condition.

Furtuna reiterated the urge to parents to be cautious and avoid agglomerated places and playgrounds. He also asked the citizens, especially the residents from cities and towns, to avoid agglomerated places, preserve the distance and not use public transport, if there is no urgent need.
