Moldovan president signs decrees on appointment of Moldova's ambassadors to China, Estonia

Chisinau, 3 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today signed decrees on the appointment of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassadors of Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.
Thus, Ion Stavila will represent Moldova in Estonia. He has earlier led Moldova’s diplomatic mission in Kiev and was ambassador at large of the Moldovan Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry.
At the same time, a former Moldovan prime minister, Dumitru Braghis, will lead Moldova’s Embassy in China.
Igor Dodon congratulated both ambassadors on the new appointment, wished them success in the diplomatic activity. Dodon also stressed the importance of strengthening the relations between Moldova and China and between Moldova and Estonia in the commercial, economic, humanitarian sectors, IT, etc.
The head of state voiced confidence that the cooperation ties with these states, once the two ambassadors are appointed, would get to a qualitatively higher level, despite the global pandemic crisis.
