Seventy four people with suspicions of COVID-19 hospitalized in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - Seventy four people suspected of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been hospitalized at the Chisinau-based COVID-19 Centre in the last 24 hours.

The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) today informed that 74 persons with suspicions of COVID-19 had been hospitalized in the last 24 hours.

As many as 17,445 confirmed cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been confirmed in Moldova till 4 July, of which 1,250 ones in the Transnistrian region.

The health condition of the infected people is as follows: 435 are in serious condition (of whom 30 are connected to artificial breathing apparatus), 1,074 are in medium seriousness condition and the other patients are in satisfactory condition. Four people have died in the last 24 hours.

According to the data by MSMPS, another 303 people have been treated and discharged. A number of 10,396 people were healed in all.
